I designed this pattern from a very simple thought. I just wanted to capture pure joy. As adults, we constantly search for profound meanings in everything. We often overlook the most direct forms of happiness.
Think about walking past a meadow. We might try to identify the exact species of a plant. But we forget to stop and just cheer for a bright color like a child would.
So, I grabbed my sketchbook and drew these mushrooms. I made sure they did not look aloof or mysteriously perfect. They are joyful little protagonists twisting and dancing in the dirt.
